What kinds of criminal charges might be made against my spouse? Some of the charges that can be made in domestic violence situations are assault, assault with a weapon or causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon or causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, and intimidation or threats to do any of these things.
