What can I expect from the emergency shelter?

Emergency shelters will provide you with temporary shelter, food, clothing and sometimes 
with some counseling.  Policies vary about children, most will allow you to bring your children 
with you although there may be age restrictions.  The staff at the shelter will give you all the 
information you need about their policies, how long you can stay and other matters.
