How can I prove that my husband has been following me? You can start to make a record of any harassing behaviour. You should make copies of phone messages and keep any notes or letters that you receive. Your record can also include details of how the behaviour has affected you. You should also report every occurrence to the police so they can add the information to their police file. Sometimes the police must build up a case because only repeated conduct is considered to be harassment for the purpose of a criminal offence.
